REVIEW 1 -If are you are a fan of warriors, power, wisdom especially things related to different gods(Odin, Thor, Jesus) then you are at the right place.

Vikings is series which have everything that connect a viewer like war, friendship, emotions, creativity and anything you want.
The root of the show is on Ragnar Lothbrok, the great name in the history of Vikings. This show does not completely rely on the exact historical events but are related. With Ragnar there are many historic personalities featured includes Alfred the Great, Rollo, Ivar the boneless, Bjorn Ironside, Lagartha, King Ecbert.
The story is centered on the Ragnar Lothbrok, a farmer turned into the most popular name in Vikings history. 
From acting perspective every really worked so well especially characters Floki played by Gustaf Scarsgard, Ragnar played by Travis Fimmel, Bjorn played by Alexander Ludwig and Ivar played by Alex Hog.
Well this series takes time you to connect if you had already seen Game of throne or The last kingdom but once you get in, it binds you.

 Review 2- First of all, I want to say that this show, unlike any other, has the best character development, plot/story development, and cinematography I've ever, ever seen. Everything about it, in my opinion, is perfect.
Of course, like every historical show, this one has a decent amount of historical inaccuracies, but don't let that get in the way of the storytelling. If you want a comparison on what this show is like, it's a lot like: The Pillars of the Earth and GoT.

But, as this show progresses, it changes A LOT. I personally love plot/story change, although some people have a very hard time handling it, so you must remember to try to be, per se, observant of it, and appreciate it. The first and second season has a real adventurous atmosphere to it. It has lots of raids--especially in England--and you're always curious where our hero Ragnar Lothbrok will go next.

The third, fourth and fifth--especially the fifth--it has a more dramatic atmosphere to it. Like GoT. That's not a bad thing at all in my opinion--as aforementioned--I personally love it. 

With that said, this show is truly the best of the best. Everything about it is great. You'll laugh, you'll scream in rage at certain characters--trust me you WILL--and you'll bawl like a little baby. This show is an emotional roller-coaster, and everything about it is perfect.
